The Book itself is the sign
وَإِنَّهُ لَكِتَابٌ عَزِيزٌ
41:41
وَإِنَّهُ لَكِتَابٌ عَزِيزٌ لَّا يَأْتِيهِ الْبَاطِلُ مِن بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ
And indeed, it is a mighty Book. Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behind it.
17:88
قُل لَّئِنِ اجْتَمَعَتِ الْإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَىٰ أَن يَأْتُوا بِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ لَا يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ
Say: if mankind and jinn gathered to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like of it.
The ayah in tafsir
The first ijaz is the Quran: unmatched speech, preserved, recited as it was recited, turning enemies into huffaz. Horizons and embryos are servants of that sign, not replacements for it. A man may know every layer of the sea and miss the Lord of the sea.
What later eyes saw
If every scientific harmony in this book were withdrawn tomorrow, the Quran would still be the Quran. If every harmony stands, it is only 41:53 keeping its promise: signs in the horizons and in yourselves, until it is clear that it is the truth. Then the work is sujud, not a slide-deck.

Read this volume, then close it and open the mushaf. The miracles that matter most are the ones you can pray with tonight.
