Badr
بدر
Year 2. A caravan, then a battle Allah had already marked. Three hundred and some against a thousand. The Quran says Allah helped you at Badr when you were few. Angels were sent. The well, the names of the dead, the prisoners — Ibn Hisham keeps the camp-register. The ayah keeps the meaning: victory is from Allah.
